Selecta’s SPC does not come from the amazon biome

Complete traceability of all of our products is as much of a matter of course as responsible use of natural resources in the countries of origin.

We have followed this principle for years with high-quality fishmeal and now also with our soy protein concentrate from Brazil. Our Brazilian partner, Sementes Selecta S/A manufactures Selecta’s SPC from GMO-free soya beans which do not come from protected regions.
As a member of the ANEC Association, Selecta is a signatory of the "Soy Moratorium" and pledges not to use any soya beans from the Amazon biome. SGS presents us with reports for each individual consignment proving the origin. Read more about this important topic in the sustainability section.

Constant monitoring

In order to guarantee the safety of our products, we work with renowned inspection companies which monitor every stage of production and all transportation.
For example, compliance with the Amazon agreement is monitored by SGS do Brasil Ltda., the Brazilian representative of the SGS Group.
